This website is operated by Vance Defense PLLC d/b/a Vance Criminal Defense. This policy explains how Vance Criminal Defense ("I" or "me") handles information collected through this website.
Information you send me
If you use the contact form, it collects what you enter: your name and phone number (required), and, if you choose, your email address, the county where your case is, and a short message. The form also records that you checked the box confirming you understand that sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Please do not include confidential details about your case in the form.
How the form is delivered
When you send the form, your message is emailed to me through Microsoft 365 (using Microsoft Power Automate) so I can respond. The website itself does not store form submissions in a database.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not an automated program, is sending it. Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser and connection, such as your IP address, for that purpose.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in general terms, how the site is used. It collects aggregate visit data, such as which pages are viewed, the website that referred the visit, browser and device type, and country. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or similar browser storage, and it does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you.
Cookies and advertising
This website does not set its own cookies. It does not show ads or use ad tracking.
Sharing
I do not sell or rent information collected through this website. I use it only to respond to you.
Deleting your information
To ask me to delete a message you sent through this website, email kyle@vancedefense.com and tell me the name and phone number you used. I will delete it unless I am required to keep it.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
